Thoughts From Pastor
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2
The deeper I grow in my relationship with the Lord, the more I trust that He truly is my help in all things. We all have questions and struggles which we are searching for answers to, and there are thousands of places we can go to find them. We live in a world full of trouble and deeply in need of help, so where do we turn? Scripture tells us that our help comes from the one who created heaven and earth. God knows every need, every struggle, and every desire we have, and He asks us to trust Him with all of it. We may wonder if we can trust Him with our lives, but the good news is that we can! When we seek Him and His presence in our lives He always meets us in every situation with His love, grace, and wisdom. As we seek God our lives may not always be comfortable and we may still have questions, but we can trust that He will always be with us pouring out His love and grace, and guiding us in His perfect will. The better I get to know Jesus, the more I realize that there is no other source of help I want to turn to. He is good, and He is so worthy of my trust and devotion. The Lord is inviting us to trust Him as the help for our lives and seek Him in all things. If you turn to Him, He will meet you where you are. What a blessing that we get to know our creator and that He helps us and loves us!
