Friends/Quakers believe in one holy, almighty, all-wise and eternal God, the Father, the Creator and Preserver of all things. They believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord and Savior, by whom all things were created, and in the Holy Spirit, proceeding from the Father and the Son. These three are one in the eternal Godhead. They believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and strive for a simple and meaningful worship service. Generally, worship services or “meetings” consist of a blend of singing, prayer and preaching in a way that combines good order and flexibility, making room for God to be our leader.
Communion after the manner of Friends:
Communion after the manner of Friends is a time when worshipers wait quietly before God inviting His Holy Spirit to speak God’s truths to their open hearts. Out of this time, Friends may share, as prompted by the Holy Spirit, the truths and leadings they have received from communing with God.
GOD’S SIMPLE TRUTH … YOU ARE LOVED!
God made you unlike anyone else and He loves you as you are.
